The Scandi House

Currently in Design Development, this project is already becoming one of those homes that feels very special from the beginning.

Designed for a bushland site in the Blue Mountains, this new home draws inspiration from Scandinavian architecture through a careful balance of simplicity, warmth and performance. The design embraces a modest footprint and a restrained material palette, allowing the home to sit gently within the landscape while creating spaces that feel calm, light-filled and deeply connected to nature.

Passive solar design principles and high-performance building strategies have been considered from the earliest stages, shaping a home focused on comfort, energy efficiency and long-term durability. Thoughtful orientation, natural light, thermal performance and indoor air quality all play an important role in creating a healthy and comfortable environment year-round.

While still evolving through the design process, this project already reflects much of what we value at Earthy Haus: homes that are beautiful, environmentally conscious and designed to feel good to live in.

We’re incredibly excited to continue developing this project and look forward to sharing more as it progresses.
